Ana Craveiro joined the firm in 2017 as Director of Communication.
She is experienced in strategic consulting and preparation of communication & marketing plans, brand management, digital marketing, press relations, event organisation, public affairs, crisis management and content creation & management. In close collaboration with the Managing Partner, the Chief Operational Officer and the Board of Directors, she coordinates the activity of the Communication Team, ensuring the firm's response to customer and market challenges. She furthermore liaises with stakeholders to promote topics of interest and share legal insights and market trends perspectives.
Her responsibilities include team leadership and day-to-day management and leadership, as well as defining and implementing the firm's communication strategy, in articulation with its Strategic Plan.
Prior to joining Morais Leitão, between December 2015 and May 2017, she was a communications consultant at the communications agency ADBDCommunicare, where she was promoted to Deputy Executive Director in June 2016.
In 2015, she was an Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of State of the Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Affairs of the XX Constitutional Government, with duties of political advisory, historical and political research and preparation of documents for the political moment (government formation) and parliamentary debates. Previously, from May 2013 to October 2015, she also worked as an Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of State Assistant to the Minister of State and Regional Development of the XIX Constitutional Government, where she had functions of policy analysis (study, preparation and development of policies and legislation in the area of migration); preparation and writing of public speeches, articles and interviews; preparation and monitoring of meetings on various topics (migration, media, other governance issues), internal and external political communication and monitoring of the daily activity of the institutes under her tutelage.
She finished the academic phase of her PhD in Political Science, with the approval of her thesis project. In this context, she has collaborated in several research projects.
