Ana de Almeida Gomes joined Morais Leitão in 2020 and is responsible for internal compliance.
Previously, Ana worked for over 16 years in various compliance-related areas at Barclays, Bankinter and Banco Montepio and also at EY as senior manager, having specialized in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection, the implementation of risk prevention mechanisms (physical and digital) and compliance with national legislation and international guidelines.

Law Degree (University of Lisbon Law School, 2002). Executive Education in Compliance (Cambridge Judge Business School, 2016). Privacy and Data Protection Officer Certificate (ICS Ireland, 2018). Expert Data Protection Officer Certification (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, 2018).
