João Anacoreta Correia joined the firm in 2019 as non-equity partner. He is head of a litigation and arbitration team.
João Anacoreta Correia has strong experience in leading and conducting litigation cases, in particular in matters of commercial and corporate. Furthermore, he has experience in commercial arbitration both as an arbitrator and as a lawyer.
He is known for his negotiating capacity, having intervened in major mergers and acquisitions processes.
Previously he was a partner at Vasconcelos, Sá Carneiro, Fontes e Associados between 2000 and 2004 as well as at Uría Menéndez from 2004 to 2018.
