Ricardo Nascimento Ferreira

Ricardo do Nascimento Ferreira joined Morais Leitão in 2005 and became a partner in 2020. He co-heads the intellectual property, technology and personal data department.
His practice focuses on judicial and arbitration proceedings in the several areas of intellectual property, notably in the area of pharmaceutical patents. He assists and represents national and foreign clients in domestic and multi-jurisdictional legal proceedings and also in pre-litigation stages.
He’s a regular speaker at conferences and academic activities related to intellectual property litigation and has published articles in national and foreign legal reviews on those subjects.
Ricardo do Nascimento Ferreira is an arbitrator in relevant arbitration institutions, he is a member of the Intellectual Property Commission of ICC Portugal (International Chamber of Commerce) and is a former member of the Under-40 Commission of the Portuguese Arbitration Association. He is also registered as a Representative before the Unified Patent Court.
