Anna Zemskaia

Prior to joining Morais Leitão, Anna Zemskaia was integrated from 2008 to 2015 into Moscow offices of Linklaters and Gide Loyrette Nouel, where she made her way from trainee lawyer to associate of the banking and finance department. From 2015 to 2018 she worked in one of the leading international investment holdings based in Russia, where she specialized in capital markets and corporate finance transactions. Furthermore, she concluded secondment in the legal department of Citibank (Moscow).
Her experience includes advising lenders and borrowers on attracting and providing financing on bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition finance, pre-export financing, ECA-backed financing, and refinancing and restructuring of existing indebtedness.
Education
Law Degree (Lomonosov Moscow State University, 2008). Attending a Master’s Degree in Law and Financial Markets (Nova Law School).

Portuguese, English and Russian.

Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2023).
