Maria Carolina Gonçalves joined the firm in June 2018. She is a member of the corporate real estate and tourism department.
Her practice focuses on corporate real estate transactions, providing legal assistance to both national and international investors across different real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing of real estate assets, forward funding, and sale and leaseback operations. Carolina also provides legal assistance to investors and developers throughout the entire lifecycle of real estate projects in sectors such as tourism, office spaces, industry, logistics, and residential.
Carolina worked at Addleshaw Goddard (formerly King & Wood Mallesons) at its offices in Madrid, where she was on secondment. Previously, she worked at Norfin – Sociedade Gestora de Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário, S.A. as an in-house lawyer, and at Uría Menéndez.
