Inês Salema joined the firm in 2007. She is a member of the tax team.
Inês practices in domestic and international taxation, both in consulting and in dispute resolution.
She has been dedicated to tax litigation (administrative and judicial procedures) with a very wide range of themes, with emphasis on local, regulatory and port charges, among others.
She works in the field of tax consultation on various matters relating, among others, taxation of individuals, particularly within employment context (taxation of fringe benefits/stock options plans/compensation for termination of employment contracts).
As part of her activity she has also been actively working on the taxation of fortuitous gains, both in the individual and business perspectives (Stamp Duty and Gambling Tax).
She represents clients from various sectors – financial services, oil and gas, energy, real estate and construction, media and advertising, public institutes, hotels and gambling houses (casinos) and private clients.
Law Degree (University of Lisbon School of Law, 2007). Postgraduate Studies in Fiscal Management of Organizations (ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, 2009).
Portuguese and English.
Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2010). Portuguese Association of Tax Consultants.
