Maria Almeida e Silva

Maria Almeida e Silva joined Morais Leitão in 2009 and became a member of the litigation and arbitration team in 2010.
She represents national and international clients in several activity sectors, both in pre-litigation matters and in arbitration and judicial proceedings, with particular focus on intellectual property matters, namely in the pharmaceutical sector.
Maria has a dual nationality, Portuguese and Angolan. She works with the Africa Team - an internal team at Morais Leitão that provides, in permanent coordination with Morais Leitão Legal Circle, permanent personalized assistance to clients whose matters involve the jurisdictions of Portuguese-speaking African countries.
