Miguel Reis de Carvalho joined the firm in 2020. He is a member of the Corporate and M&A team.
He has focused his activity essentially on the acquisition and sale of shareholdings, mergers and joint ventures, negotiation of civil and commercial contracts and providing general legal advice to clients mainly in relation to commercial and corporate matters.
Miguel advises clients in different sectors of activity, including mining, industry, real estate, financial services, agriculture and car rental services.
He also regularly advises clients on intellectual property matters, in particular regarding issues involving trademarks and copyright.
Education
Law Degree (Católica University Lisbon Law School, 2007). Attended the Postgraduate Course in Intellectual Property Law (Lisbon Law School, 2008). Master’s Degree in Global Legal Studies (Católica University Lisbon Law School, 2009). LL.M in International Business Law (King’s College London – School of Law, 2010).
