Márcia Tomás Pires
Trainee
Márcia Tomás Pires joined the firm in March 2023. She is a member of the intellectual property, technology and personal data department.
She has experience in advising clients across the SaaS, TMT, Fintech, and Aerospace sectors. Her practice focuses on drafting and negotiating technology agreements, including token sales, cloud computing contracts, and aerospace project agreements. She also provides strategic counsel on regulatory compliance and technological innovation, with a particular emphasis on blockchain-based solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Márcia was an international tax consultant at Deloitte, where she specialized in advising medium and large technology companies on cross-border taxation and financing operations. She later joined the IP-TMT team at Cuatrecasas, where she gained her expertise in fintech, consumer law, and data protection.
Márcia has a multidisciplinary background and understanding of emerging technologies.

Law Degree (University of Lisbon School of Law, 2019). Master`s Degree in Law and Technology (Nova Law School, 2022).

Portuguese, English and Spanish.
